This week, I made a card and a gift card holder for you. For my card, I used the Unity Jesus is the Reason single. This is a card I actually made for my Secret Santa. I sure hope she doesn't see this. I guess it won't be so "secret" anymore if she does. :) I also used my favorite Basic Grey Wassail papers and the gorgeous ribbon is from Stampin' Up! I decorated the tree in Diamond Stickles but you really can't see it in the picture.
Do you need a very quick gift card holder? Well, here is one that just takes a matter of minutes.**Cut a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of cardstock and round the corners.
**3 1/4" of the way day your card, use your craft knife to cut a 3/4" strip that you will slip the gift card through.
**Add a piece of patterned paper over the strip if you would like.
**Use a Christmas or sentiment stamp across the top. I used the Unity Sleigh Ride single here, and it fits perfectly in the space! I also embossed it with Ranger Seafoam White embosssing powder. I then used the Merry Christmas sentiment from Unity Bitty Christmas Tags across the strip in the middle.
**Decorate, slide the card in, and you are ready to go!
This particular gift card holder is super simple. It could be dressed up a lot more but I needed something quick. :) I hope this helps some of you that may need a very quick way to give a gift card! Now hop on over to Amber's amazing blog! We are SO glad to have her back with us after her surgery! Be sure to wish her well, and check out her amazing work! Have fun on the hop today everyone! Blessings,
