This week the ODBD Challenge Team is challenging you to a sketch. We are so excited as a team to be sharing our first sketch for the Shining the Light Challenge!! I know most of you know that I LOVE sketches, and I truly miss my sketch site and amazing design team! So, this was the first sketch I have played with in a while, and WOW was it fun! Here is the ODBD sketch:
For the sketch challenge, I also incorporated the Splitcoastampers color challenge CC260. I don't think I have ever worked with grey before so this was a fun addition to the challenge! My card uses the new ODBD release called Easter Blessings. I layered several different Basic Grey papers, and I also used the new Spellbinders release called Lotus Pendants. It will be available in the ODBD store so be watching! Papers: Basic Grey Nook & Pantry, Basic Grey Ambrosia, Bazzill
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs Easter Blessings
Stamp Ink: SU basic black, Colorbox Fluid Chalk charcoal, Ranger clear EP
Embellishments: misc. ribbon, LuminArte daffodil, Spellbinders Lotus Pendants, Prismacolor pencils
Be sure to visit the other ODBD CT blogs to see what they have created with the sketch! You won't want to miss their amazing inspiration!

I have gotta get more dies - the one you used is delightful...I also have started using grey c/s and am loving it..Thanks for the inspiration.
The Lotus pendents are a creative way to represent the circles! Fun! Looks like you stamped your flower image on the gray cs, and then colored it? It worked out for you.
Yes, Lori, I stamped the flower onto my Basic Grey patterned paper. Then I colored it with my Prismacolor pencils, painted the flowers with LuminArte H20s and cut the image out. :) Thanks for your sweet comments everyone. :)
I think that fab diecut is a must have! Oh well another day! Love your take on the challenge! Wonderful colors! Lovely, Patter!
hmmm, maybe grey is a new color you can add to your list...you've done beautiful work with it Patter! That lotus die looks amazing as the circle. Beautiful card!
Absolutely breathtaking, Patter, and stamping the lily of the valley unto DP is such a great idea! I have those Twinkling H2O's..I think I need to dust mine off and get some use out of them ;D. Love this card!!! Have a wonderful weekend!! Hugs and blessings, Sabrina
