The Binders
I have been using the Keep Filing Mini Ring Binders. They hold 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" paper, use d-rings, and are very sturdy. I really love these binders. I fill these binders with their 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" sheet protectors. These sheet protectors are very sturdy which I like.

The Sketches
In my current binder, I am storing sketch cards from the back of the Page Map books and also sketches from The Color Room.
The Page Map cards are perforated into fourths but I only took them apart across the middle so that I could have two cards in each sheet protector. It works perfectly.
The Color Room pages I print myself in Microsoft Word as they share new sketches. I keep them in order by sketch number with the most recent on top. The fun thing about The Color Room sketches is that they not only share a scrapbook sketch but they also share a card sketch (by the same number) and a color challenge. There certainly is a lot of inspiration on these pages!
Since they have both scrapbook and card sketches using the same number, I just put the card sketch underneath the scrapbook sketch on my paper. It works perfectly for me that way, and I do not get them mixed up.
Lots of Room!
So far I have 56 page protectors in this binder (approx. 162 sketches), and look how much room I still have left:
Yes, these binders hold a lot! Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's organizational inspiration, and happy crafting!

Patter!! I have so many sketches printed from those multiple sketches that you mentioned being out there! ;) I've been pondering HOW I will store them, as I need to control the madness somehow ... I think this is the motivation I need to get it done! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your great organizational ideas!!! ALWAYS helpful and inspiring!!
