Last year I came up with a fun way to make canvas bookmarks. I love them, and they hold up SO well plus they make great gifts. You can make 8-10 bookmarks at a time! I have just written 2 posts sharing my complete tutorial on my Memory Box blog. You can see those posts here:
Canvas Bookmark Tutorial {Part 1}
Canvas Bookmark Tutorial {Part 2}
And just to entice you to come over and look, here are a few photos. :) :)
Stamps: Memory Box Whisper Print Geranium G1864, Memory Box Vintage Dreams G1838, Memory Box Sonoma Print C1311
Stamp Ink: Archival Ink black
Paint/Inks: Adirondack Dabber willow, lettuce, and pitch black; Golden Fluid Acrylic van Dyke Brown Hue; Liquitex Ink yellow oxide and cadmium yellow light hue
Spray Inks: Distress Ink tattered rose and shabby shutters
Other supplies: Liquitex gesso, Pentel EnerGel pen, various templates and bubble wrap, magnets, sewing machine
There are lots more step-by-step photos in the posts. I hope you enjoy the tutorial. It was a lot of work but really fun. I love my canvas bookmarks! Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day! Blessings,
Can't wait to give this a try! Thx Patter -- hope you're settling in well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! Thanks Patter!
ReplyDeleteHi Patter!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I received my MIL's old sewing machine. I just need someone to teach me how to use it! I haven't the clue.
I love the colors and durability of your bookmarks. Great job!
