Organizational {Friday} Enamel Dots

So, I was in a new antique store in town, and I found two wonderful sewing cabinet drawers. I knew one of them would be perfect for my enamel dot collection.

First, I divided all of my enamel dots by color. And yes, the packages that contained multiple colors, I cut them apart by color. I then made dividers for each color section. To make the dividers, I used heavy cardstock and measured the drawer. I cut the dividers to fit. For this particular drawer, the dividers measure 3 15/16" w x 4 3/8" high. I then used my punch Jenni's Label punch by Fiskars to make the tabs. Next, I labeled the tabs with an enamel dot for each colored section.

I have plenty of enamel dots, and the colors just look so pretty! Now, it is very easy to see what I want to use. And since they are in this drawer, it makes them easy to grab, use, and then put away also.

This was simple to do and certainly functional for me now. I hope you enjoy it! Blessings,

  4. Jennifer, some of my dots I get online from various stores as they have them on sale. One great place is scrapbookpal.com. They have the Queen & Co. pearls for $1.19.

The majority I have gotten from a group buy that I did with a bunch of girls. :)

And glad y'all like this storage. Enjoy your day!
