Organizational {Friday}

Today I thought I would share a fun way to store your ribbons. I actually have two storage methods--0ne for ribbons that 1/2 wide and smaller and one for larger ribbons. For my smaller ribbons, I store them in my Cropper Hopper embellishment storage boxes. Some boxes will hold up to 5 yards of ribbon depending on the thickness of the ribbon. I love this method. Then they fit perfectly in my Scrap 'n Cube drawers. I have several drawers filled like this. Cropper Hopper makes a box that will fit these storage boxes also.For the larger ribbons, I just roll them onto clothes pins and store them in a jar. They look so pretty sitting on my storage unit.
Please feel free to share a link to your ribbon storage in the comments section. I know we would love to see your ideas. Happy Scrapping!

I'm in envy of your great organizational skills. I wish I had the patience to do it. Maybe one day I will. Great idea with the larger ribbon in the jars, very cute.

Your new puppy is adorable. Did you name him yet?
Have fun with them, and I hope your girls are feeling better.

Love how you organized your ribbon. Mine is in a medium Sterilite drawer, not very pretty but it works for now.

I use ribbon ring tags. I stumbled across their website about a month ago and my ribbon has never been the same! (www.ribbonring.com) You thread your ribbon on a little plastic tag and then hang the tag on a metal ring. I bought my metal rings at Office Depot because the ones on the site only held 60 ribbons each. I have one ring for every color! I hang them on a coat rack behind my desk and I have found I am using my ribbon a lot more! I also hang my rub-on sheets on a big metal ring.

OMG I totally love how you store the ribbon on clothes pins! Mine are just kind of thrown in jars and look a mess. I'm going to get some wooding pins the next trip to the store. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for sharing all your organization ideas! I recently found some CD racks that are working for me as ribbon storage:

This will work for me as long as I can keep my ribbon collection from taking over!!! :-)
