Our Daily Bread Designs {Challenge 33}

Welcome to another ODBD challenge! Yeah! This week your challenge is "anything goes" with one requirement--you must use at least one ODBD stamp on your creation!

For my card, I used 3 ODBD stamps from 2 different sets--Brocade Background (used VersaMark and stamped directly on the Kraft notecard) and Missing You (for the image and sentiment). I also used one of my old sketches from my sketch site {TTS72}.Papers: Memory Box kraft nc, Memory Box Gossamer

Saturday's {Sketch} TTS77

Good Saturday morning everyone! Most of you know that I closed my sketch site, Triple the Sketch. If you missed that announcement, you can read it here. However, I will still share my sketches on a limited basis--probably once a month or so on Saturdays. There will not always be samples to share but I can at least share my sketches with you. I hope that you will enjoy them. You can still access all of my sketches (TTS1 through TTS76) on Triple the Sketch. They will remain up for some time for you to enjoy and use. My new sketches (TTS77 and forward) will be posted here as I create them. So, here is TTS77 for you to enjoy today! Remember, I create my sketches so that you can use them for any paper crafting project--cards, layouts of any size, ATCs, altered art, etc. My amazing design team was the BEST at turning the sketches into ANYTHING! Organizational {Friday} My Sketch Books

Yesterday, some of you stopped by and saw the book I made for sketches from my sketch site, Triple the Sketch. If you missed the post yesterday, you can see it here. All other sketches from magazines that I cut out, etc., are stored in my Quickutz sheets in a small binder. I posted that book almost a year ago. That organizational post is here. Today, I want to share the sketch book I made for other miscellaneous sketches I find on the web that I print out.

I did the same thing for this notebook as I did with my own sketches--I print each sketch out to a size of 3x3 inches. Then I put them in this notebook. I used the same new release from Unity Stamp Co. that I used on my other book--Rain & Flowers. I just love this set! I can see many uses for this one! I also make sure that the person's name is on the sketch so that I can give them credit if I do use their sketch. Now I have a cute little sketch book SET that is VERY easy to travel with and store here at home! I hope you enjoy it and maybe make a few books of your own! Have a great Friday!

Hip Hop {Thursday} Organizing Sketches

I purchased these three precious notebooks at my local grocery store on clearance last Fall. They measure 4x4 inches, and they have 80 sheets of paper in them. Looking back, I should have purchased more. I love these little books. They have been on my desk for some time now, and I finally decided what I wanted to do with them. I decided to store some of my sketches in them. The book I altered today contains 50 of the sketches from my sketch site, Triple the Sketch. This 4x4 size is just perfect. It is easy to hold in my hand, easy to store, and quick to flip through. I printed each sketch out at 3x3 inches. I actually had to tear out a lot of the extra pages because as you can see, the book gets rather full even with just 50 sketches pasted in here. To decorate my book, I used the new Unity release Rain & Flowers. The papers are from the Making Memories Chloe's Closet line you can find at Michael's. I added all of my flat embellishments and words, and then I covered it in Modge Podge. I then added my dimensional embellishments. I wanted to add ribbon to the spiral binding but I tend to fold the notebook back so it wouldn't work with ribbon there.I am going to use the other two notebooks for sketches from Splitcoaststampers and then various other sketches I find I like online. Hip Hop {Thursday}

Welcome to another Hip Hop {Thursday}. I hope you are joining me from Chelsea's amazing blog! She is our guest designer at Unity this month, and I am SO excited for her! For my layout this week, I used Sketch 29 (TTS29) from my sketch blog, Triple the Sketch. This is a 9x9 layout, and I have been waiting for the perfect TIME to scrap these pictures. Pun intended. :) Unity's Tic Toc Clock stamp was perfect for these pictures. It is such a great stamp and can be used in so many ways! I also used the fun November kit from Create My Keepsake for this layout and my card below! For a complete list of supplies, be sure to click here! :)
For my card, I used the Splitcoaststampers SC200 sketch along with Unity's newest release Neighborhood of Simplicity. This stamp has three houses on it so it was perfect to break up for this particular sketch. I used my Copics to color in the houses and trees. I didn't want a lot of color so I only used two markers. I wanted just enough color to blend with the amazing Collage Press papers. I also used a sentiment from the Birds of a Feather set. 3 in One!

Okay, here is a layout that accomplishes three fun things! Yes, this busy woman must multi-task her scrapping so this worked perfectly this week! This layout incorporates the amazing June kit from Create My Keepsake. It also uses this week's sketch from Triple the Sketch, and I used a cool Unity stamp from the June kit of the Month on this layout! Now that's what I call a multi-tasked layout! Ha! This layout is from my "garage crash" back in February. For those of you that missed the story, you can read about it here. And yes, it did cost $500 to replace that darn side mirror! Get that Sewing Machine Out!

Oh my goodness, how I love to sew. I have sewn for about 30 years. Now I don't have time to do much of anything anymore but I have always loved the look of sewing on layouts, cards, and tags. Well, my wonderful machine is in my beautiful sewing cabinet that my mother gave me but I never get it out to use it: until this week! Now I am totally addicted. I had so much fun making these three cards and sewing on them. The first card I did for design team work for both Triple the Sketch and Inspire Me Card Kits. The second card was also for Inspire Me Card Kits, and the last one I made just for fun using some new papers I got from Create My Keepsake. I mostly used machine sewing; however, on the second card, I did do some hand sewing on the butterfly. So fun! So, if you haven't gotten your sewing machine out lately, I highly recommend it! Organizational {Friday}

Well, with my new sketch site Triple the Sketch starting up, I thought it would only be appropriate to talk about how I organize sketches from magazines, etc. For the sketches I draw myself, I have a notebook that I use; however, for sketches from other places I use my Quickutz 2x2 storage sleeves. I don't store my Quickutz in them anymore, and I hated to see them go to waste so this was the perfect solution. Here is what a page looks like:
This works perfectly for me. I print them or cut them out of magazines, write the designers name and magazine name on the back so I can give them credit, and put them in the Quickutz page holder. I do have divider tabs in my binder so the sketches are sorted as follows:

Tab 1: 1-2 photos
Tab 2: 3-4 photos
Tab 3: 5 or more photos
Tab 4: Cards

I thought the 2x2 size would be too small but they have been perfect. You could even use the slide page protectors and keep them in a regular 3-ring binder instead. Big News!

For those of you that haven't heard, I am now the owner of a new blog site called Triple the Sketch. Our very simple sketches are to be used as a springboard to inspire you to create at least three different pieces (cards, layouts, and tags). Our sketches will not limit your creativity in any way. These sketches are not structured. Use any page size, card size, tag size, adjust the sketch as needed, or even use it as an element on part of a layout or altered art. The amazing design team will show you how versatile these sketches can be each and every Friday beginning April 4th!
