Well, I'm looking forward to more me-time and feeling better, so that I can get going with these challenges. I've only made first week so far :(

I am really enjoying that I am reading the Bible more and forming a better relationship with God.

I'm enjoying studying the individual words and seeing what God's Word says about them, I'm enjoying the fellowshipping with the other participants, and I love knowing I'm making something to pass on to our children (I'm making 2 extra sets to give them when they leave home).

I feel I am learning so much more about the Bible. There are so many places to find out about single words you are looking for that I didn't realize. It's inspiring. I know when this is done, I will be able to look back on my cards when I need a lift.

I enjoy the time and inspiration it gives me to reflect on where my life and my relationship with God have connected.

I am so enjoying the hunt through the scriptures and the reaffirming of the message of God's love.

I'm enjoying being back into God's Word like I should always be. This challenge has me paying more attention to Him (I had kind of lapsed with my Bible study). LinR

I am enjoying this challenge because it has helped me rekindle my relationship with God. I find myself praying and reading the bible more and realizing that he has not abandoned me.

*taking a deep breath*
This last year my faith has really wavered for the first time in my life. I had listened to voices around me that drew me away from my testimony of the Lord. When I finally realized how far away I had fallen I realized I needed to change. This scripture challenge has given me an opportunity to be creative and incorporate my faith in a very concrete way into each week. I need this physical challenge to help me rediscover the truths I've always known. Thank you for that.

It is amazing how the words have encouraged/taught me during a difficult time in my life. I lost my job in December and these words have ministered greatly as I search for a new job. I have learned new meanings for "old" words that I thought I knew! It has been wonderful! Each week I wait anxiously for the next new message from God.

i am not signed up on your list (can't figure out how), but i have done two of the four challenges. my mom died 5mos ago. God and I are working thru some things right now, and making these cards has forced me to deal with some of those things. i am so grateful for a patient and loving Lord. knowing that he understands and still loves me in spite of some of my feelings - such a reassurance.

I am really enjoying the focus on one word and reading about that one word and seeing what all God has to say about it. I am also enjoying scrapping the scriptures. It's so relaxing and I think it's more fun...there's not title to worry about, no picture to match colors with...just God's words. I love it!

Thanks Patter. I am looking forward to getting started designing. Jan . is really busy for me so I knew I wouldn't have a chance to play, but I have been doing some research for each of the weeks words when I have a chance. I must say that the other participants who are sharing their creations and thoughts are very inspiring!

I love that every page I make is inspired by the Lord and the Word. Who could ask for a better muse? The first night I started the challenge I struggled!! The worst scrapbook night EVER! Then I prayed about it...and now I am enjoying this so so much! Every page I do I love and I eagerly await the next word!! I have even thought of doing my own words so I can scrap more of God's message.

I feel like through this challenge, God is encouraging me to deal with my hopes, fears, and struggles. I tend to hold everything inside and I feel God whispering to me in my ear, telling me to stop hiding myself and share my life and story to others so that they may come to him. I am so blessed to have found Faith Sisters, I know God lead me to you all!

This is my first EVER Challenge to be in..and what a GREAT one to jump in on!! Wow, I am reminded that we will always be able to learn more from the Living Word of God! If we Seek, we WILL Find!! Thanks so much, Patter , for challenging us to 'Dig Deeper' each week! May God bless you greatly!

I look forward to each new word and finding all about them. I had been saving scriptures that I wanted to start a scripture book but I really like doing this too. In addition to Bible study and reading the Bible, this is another excellent way to read God's Word and feel His Love. Thank you so much for doing this Patter!

I have studied more and talked about this challenge with more people than ever! I look forward to the new word each week and continually look each week for the words from the previous weeks! Thank you so much for this challenge Patter! God is blessing each of us through this challenge!

I am really enjoying the different topics. Each week's word has been very pertinent to something I have needed, and the extra push to get into God's word has been needed by me. I am also enjoying the variety of ways that the participants are making it personal to them.

There's so much I love about this little [BIG-?!?] challenge! I joined to accomplish two things- a topical index of some of my favorite verses and a full and fluffy roladex! But I've found that I REALLY LOVE searching the scriptures each week and doing little 'mini' studies on each word that is chosen. Thanks so much for taking the time to set this up for us! ~ J

I am really enjoying what God is saying to me through these challenge words. I look forward to the new word every week!

Lets see, there are a few things that I am loving about this challenge.
1. a chance to spend time in the word, and then meditating on that topic for a week.
2. Creating something about and for me instead of always giving away. (Don't get me wrong I love to make things for others, have never spent time creating for me before.
3. I am forcing myself to try new (to me) scrapbooking techniques on my weekly layouts.

I can't wait to see what where this is going to go this year.

I'm just glad to have my mojo back! Thanks, Patter!

Patter, all I can say is every week is a challenge and I am enjoying looking for the scripture that touches me, I have picked out one and then sometimes God gives me a different one, so it seems God is challenging me with this and to be able to create something from God's word is amazing. I am growing in my spirit with this challenge and I am amazed at the participation, this makes me feel wonderful to know that God is using his gifts to women and allowing us to share with each other through scrapbooking. All I can say is you are blessed by God to have been faithful to him and listening to His prompting for this challenge. Praying for you and all the women in this challenge.

Patter, I have to say when I first heard of this challenge I was intrigued. I was thinking that it would be great to do more researching into my bible texts. Now that we are four weeks into it, I have to say that my favorite part is seeing how many times the word of the week is displayed to me during that week. It happens without fail. GOD IS GREAT! Thank you sooooo much for including me. I look forward to the next 48 weeks :) -Gayle Greeley

Patter, I'm enjoying the combination of creativity and Bible study. But, my favorite part has been discussing this challenge with my Mom who is also doing the challenge. We really enjoy talking about the new word and which verses we have selected. Thanks for organizing this, Patter.

Thanks Patter for hosting these challenges and for being so open about how God is working in your life! I've had a hard time motivating myself to read my bible and I love that these challenges are forcing me to do so. I feel like I'm breathing fresh air again! Thanks,

This challenge has come at an amazing time. I look forward every week to our new word. My study journal that I'm making each week is going to be just as precious as my little scrap book. I enjoy learning and growing, reflecting through all these new scripture, it is so hard to choose just a few that touch me the most. I feel so blessed each and every week. Thank you Patter for giving me this opportunity.

Patter,
You have no idea how grateful I am for this wonderful opportunity I have to take part in the challenge! That's not even the right word for it, it's more like a Scripture Feast!!! It's been absolutely amazing seeing how each week's topic seems to be aimed at my exact needs at this time! This past week our topic was 'Wait'... I read so many wonderful scriptures talking about waiting on the Lord's timing, and doing things in His time and not my own. It has been very comforting as my DH and I have been desperately trying to have a baby, and with no luck. It's really made me realize that Heavenly Father has something else He needs me to do before that can happen. And I will become pregnant at the perfect time! I've also had an opportunity this week to go out with missionaries from my church, and it seemed that every single person we visited needed a lesson on patience. On waiting on the Lord. It was wonderful being able to share scriptures with them that I have found throughout the week!!! Thankyou for everything! Happy feasting!

My favorite is dwelling on God's word and what it has to say regarding our word for the week. God's word is directed at every part of our lives and this challenge continues to remind me of that.

I'm neck-deep in an intensive bible study course. This is helping me take a step back -- and yet it all ties together. Oh, and I discovered that my bible has a concordance. It's brilliant!

I love digging into God's word and then utilizing my creative gifts to make a thing of beauty that I will be able to enjoy for many years to come.

What more could I ask for?

I am excited that I am memorizing more scriptures, and really digging in my Bible for the different scriptures that go with our word each week.

I've never really sat down and read the Bible. I was born & raised Catholic, and I still practice and love this faith. I studied Theology in college, but I've never just sat and read and reflected. So this has been interesting for me--to reflect on one word for a week, to let it seep in and take root. I appreciate the invitation to do that, and I love that I'll have a book to flip through when I'm done.

In addition to being blessed by God's direction to me in my design each week, I am also blessed by seeing how He has spoken to others thru their creations as well~

Things are very rocky for me in my life right now and this is the one constant that I can count on. By searching for our weekly word - God has blessed me and assured me that he is in charge.

I can't remember why I was directed to this site - but I know WHO sent me here.

Thank you so much for doing this not only for me but for all the participants.

I am enjoying the creative process that allows me to incorporate God's Word into my life. Not only am I searching the Scriptures, but by actually having to create something out of them, it has helped me to memorize and internalize them, too - a very nice bonus!

I'm looking forward to being able to study more and applying to my daily life.

What Im enjoying about the weekly scriptures is the searching for the verse that speaks to me the most and then those scriptures popping in my head throughout the day. This challenge is truly inspiring and Im really enjoying it.

I would have to say I look forward to what God has to say to me when I seek His word. I never realized a simple search could simply draw me closer to Him.

I'm enjoying seeing others work, and thankful that this challenge led me to the Faith Sisters website. I am also thankful that I have a whole year to complete this, I haven't done a single card yet--I just keep printing off what you give us each week and put it in my Scripture Journal I made for the challenge!

This Scripture Challenge is a wonderful thing, Patter. Thank you so much for inspiring us!

I think the challenges have committed me to take time out to spend reading scripture -- and that is such a calming and encouraging quiet time. I feel more confident and more joyous...just because of a few minutes a week.

Another great word to contemplate with the Lord. I have loved these challenges so much for a couple reasons. First, while being busy at home with 4 kids under the age of 8 it has been difficult to find time to enjoy my favorite hobby: scrapbooking. Second, it has also been difficult to have a quiet time with my Heavenly Father. These challenges have helped me to combine the 2 things that I most need/want to make time for. Just a side note, although I haven't posted since week 1 in the Faith Sister gallery I'm still doing the challenges. My "Wait" page is a work in progress, waiting to be completed. LOL!
Thanks again, Patter for doing this. One day I look forward to meeting my sister in Christ, whether it be here on earth or in heaven! Jennifer

I'm too late, but I wanted you to know this has been one of the most meaningful challenges I've done to date. I've had to dig in the scriptures for some and with others I had to dig into my soul. Designing the card is just a plus!

I have enjoyed the accountability of spending time in scripture, reflecting on His word, and coming up with something tangible to focus on. Your word of the week is constantly going through my head during the week, pondering, meditating, praying about what God wants me to "see" in that word.

I just stumbled on to this post (it is Feb 10th so I missed out on the drawing). I still wanted to leave a comment though. I just love how this challenge has me pumped about getting into Gods word. The faithbooking is just an added bonus. Having 1 word to search helps keep me focused. Such an awesome idea Patter. Thank you.
