Let's Hip Hop!

Happy Hip Hop Thursday!!! If you have joined me from Brooke's blog, you know that there are already some amazing things for you today! Sorry I don't have any fun music like Rockin' Brooke had but I hope you have fun just the same! :) And if you haven't come from Brooke's blog, you will want to go back to the Unity blog to start your official "hop."

For today's Unity Hip Hop, I created a card using two sets: Growing in Unity and Tiny Trinity. I was actually able to use five stamps from the Growing in Unity set on this card, and then I used the Hello stamp from the Tiny Trinity set. I stamped on the strips of patterned paper, and then I used my sewing machine to stitch between each section. Gotta love the sewing machine! :) And for a link to all of the supplies I used, look here.

Next, I altered a notebook using the Unity Best Friends set. I used the Chirrup Peep and Swooshie Twist stamps for the cover of my notebook. I am going to use this notebook to keep track of all of the amazing daily challenges on Splitcoaststampers. It is hard to see in this picture but I created tabs with my Quickutz and sectioned off the notebook with the daily challenges. I sure love all of the amazing challenges on Splitcoast each week! And if you notice, on the right-hand corner of my notebook, I put the bird on a piece of chipboard so that he would stand out more. I didn't use pop dots because I wanted my bird to be sturdy. I also stamped one of the flowers with Colorbox rosebud ink and cut it out to put on the metal tab. The metal tab makes the notebook very easy to open. :) And to see products used for my notebook, look here. And now for SOME of today's Hip Hop Specials (this is only a partial list):
Today's Singles: Oh! What a Beautiful Morning sentiment for $2.50; Queen for a Day for $3; Chancy Flower Pot for $5; and Polka Dot Posy for $3. To see all of the other amazing specials, make sure you go to the Unity blog!

Also, today Angela will be donating 10% of all sales to 'Operation Jonathan'. Ten percent of all orders today will go to help this family with their upcoming expenses. When you get to Heather B.'s blog, she will share more about Jonathan and his family with you. And here is a link to make a donation. Unity is amazing for helping families in need!

Now HOP on over to our amazing guest designer's blog: Cyndi! You certainly don't want to miss out on any of the amazing creations done by all of these talented ladies. Make sure you leave them some love at each stop. We all love getting comments. Happy Hoppin'. :)
