Tuesday's {Tip}

Don't use that shaped chipboard! No, not really but don't use it before you trace it! :) I love to trace shaped chipboard and use it for cards, journaling tags, etc.
I used this fun shaped chipboard from Magistical Memories to make a journaling tag. First, I traced the chipboard, and then I cut it out. This time I used the smallest piece, and I didn't trace it entirely since I was not going to use the full size.
I used it for a journaling tag on this week's Scripture Challenge ATC card. See how I cut off one side of the tag? I didn't need the full size, and then I punched the holes so that it would fit on my ATC card.
Using shaped chipboard just works great! Now I know that Spellbinders has a new Nestabilities die that will cut this particular shape but if you don't use Nesties or you don't want to buy them, this is a great option! And certainly much cheaper too! So, start looking at all of that shaped chipboard you have around. How can you use it by tracing and cutting out? Use your imagination and have fun!

I was wondering how you did that on the card, I thought it was a stamp. Thanks for sharing.

Great tip! I do that with the large 12x12 scalloped and shaped papers... I trace them on big white 12x12 paper so I have a template for in the future :)

So cute! What a great tip! I'm going to have to dig through my chip board drawer and try this out. Thanks for sharing!
