{Faith Journaling} Challenge #18

This week I thought it would be fun to journal about this topic:

**Tell about your earliest memory of God.

Just as the Israelites were to remember what He had done for them and pass it down to the generations, so we too must share about Him with the generations to come! I am sure there are all kinds of stories, and the generations to come will love to read about your earliest memory about Him!!!

Deuteronomy 32:7 says "Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past. Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you."

Have a blessed time of journaling! In Him,

Hi Patter~~

What a wonderful, insightful question to pose! I will have to think back. I don't know if I will write about the God I knew from growing up in a Jewish home, or The Living God I gave my life to when I converted in my heart...which was a month or so before I did it publically in the church!

Fabulous question...thank you !

He IS Able,

Oh Patter! I love this! My earliest memory is being a little 7year old girl going to Mrs. Doty Inmans house on Friday after school. She would tell us stories on her felt board with pictures and help us memorize scriptures. It was so fun to listen to biblical stories. The part where God came in was at the end of these sessions, when I was given a white Bible with my name imprinted in God on it. I thought that God had given it to me himself! I still have it today and it survived 2 fires in my lifetime without a scorch on it. This was amazing since the first fire consumed everything else I ever had. That is the strenght of his word! Thank you so much for selecting this topic! Hugs Lori
