{Faith Journaling} Challenge #58

There is so much going on around our world today--horrendous floods in Australia, the shootings in Arizona, personal challenges, etc. So today let's look at:

**How has God helped you to be content in any circumstance, or do you still struggle with contentment?

Philippians 4:11-12 "I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want."

Thanks for your thoughts about Australia's floods. I'm on the dry side (Perth, Western Aust) but have cyberfriends in Queensland and am thankful that the Lord answered our prayers for the flooding not to be as bad as was expected in Brisbane. I think it is the wide area (all along the east coast and Tasmania in such a short time and the loss of life that has made it all so tragic.

It's been interesting seeing some people's attitude and in particular those you know are Christians. Shining lights in a dark situation. They are the ones who have demonstrated real contentment!

Oh Steph, thank you for sharing how things are going there. I have been watching on the news and praying daily! It is devastating! Praise God for His lights that are there shining in the darkness. May many come to know Him through this tragedy! Hugs, prayers, and blessings,
