It's ODBD's June Release Blog Hop!

Hello everyone! I pray you are enjoying the Our Daily Bread Designs June Release Blog Hop! You should be joining me from Betty's awesome blog.  If not, you might want to jump back to the ODBD blog and begin the hop from there. The entire blog hop list is in this ODBD post. You won't want to miss any of the creations the team is sharing with you today! There are definitely some amazing and gorgeous creations! Here are the hop details:

*The hop will run from today until June 2 at 8 p.m. Eastern, and there will be 4 winners!
*To win, you must comment on each DT members blog then go back to the ODBD blog post and comment that you completed the hop. Also share any of the blogs that you could not comment on, and answer the question on the ODBD blog (not on the individual DT blogs).
*Three winners will receive one stamp set.
*One lucky winner will receive this month's entire Bread Basket Bundle!
*Winners will be randomly selected from the commenters that complete the hop and announced on the ODBD Blog on June 3.

Now, let's look at what I created with the new Serve the Lord set and two of the new dies--the Crochet Border die (used on the red piece of paper near the page title) and the Crochet Circle die (used to cut out the floral image). I created an 8x8 layout of one of my girls on her first day at work as part of our church nursery staff. This new set (Serve the Lord) was perfect for the subject. :) I used the colors in her shirt to come up with the color scheme for my page. I colored in the flowers by painting with my distress inks. I used the Crochet Border stamp twice--once below the scripture on the tag and then again on the red border where I also used the Crochet Border die.

Papers: Basic Grey Life of the Party, Paper Trey Ink cs (white), Bazzill cs (blue), Canson watercolor paper
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs Serve the Lord (flower, lace borders, and scripture)
Stamp Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink shabby shutters and spiced marmalade (to paint flowers), Archival Ink jet black, Adirondack denim
Dies: Our Daily Bread Designs Crocheted Border die and Crocheted Circle die
Embellishments: Faber-Castell blue gelatos (for paint splatters), Zva Creative pearls, Martha Stewart chrysanthemum punch, May Arts scalloped trim, Basic Grey wander chip alpha, Making Memories tiny alpha stickers, A Million Memories mini butterflies, sewing machine

I hope you have enjoyed the hop and new releases today! I am the end of the line. So, now head back to the ODBD blog to let us know that you have completed the hop! Have a blessed Tuesday, and thanks for stopping by! I appreciate each of you! Blessings,
Photobucket

Dear Patter, Thanks to you I may actually be successfully navigating my first blog hop--I started at your page, went to ODBD, and am now back to you---your work always inspires and intrigues (In a good way--how did she think to do that?) I found it hard to believe that the red piece wasn't a real texture but a stamped image; we'll have to take your word for it....Jennifer in Ohio
