It's a New Scrapbook Challenge at ODBD!

Are you ready for a new scrapbook challenge? Well, we have one at Our Daily Bread Designs, and I really would LOVE to see a lot of my scrapping bloggers join in!!! In April we celebrate “Lawn and Garden” month. So, we thought it would be fun to use the "Lawn and Garden" theme for our April challenge. Your challenge is to use 3 of the following items from the April “lawn and garden recipe” below on any size scrapbook page along with ODBD stamps:

*Green
*Brown
*Grass
*Flowers
*Dirt
*Butterflies
*Leaves
*Wood

You can use these recipe items in your photos, color scheme, as part of your embellishments, etc. Have fun with it! You certainly do not have to do a garden layout just use 3 items from the recipe along with ODBD stamps in any theme you wish--think Easter, Spring, etc.! For all details about the challenge and to enter, please see this ODBD post here.

For my 8"x8" page using this challenge, I decided to scrap the bluebonnet photos I took last week. From the "lawn and garden recipe," I used flowers from the photos, green paper, brown paper, and leaves that are in the photos too. :) The quote from the new ODBD set called "Quote Collection 2 was just perfect for the photos! I also added a few bees from the ODBD Simple Things set.

This is pretty, Patter! We're still enjoying daffodils & forsythia here (crocuses are done), and waiting for the rest of spring. I especially enjoy your pleated ribbon, and the stamped bees! Thanks---Jennifer in Ohio

Most scrapbook companies now have blogs where they show the newest in their products, illustrate great tasks, and offer motivation via lessons and difficulties.

Patter, I love your page!!! The quote is perfect for your photos. You always see bees around pretty flowers so the little bees on your page are priceless. I've never done pleated ribbon before. Love the look, I'll have to give it a try.
