Journaling {Bible} Romans 1:19-20

Seeing God daily through His creation is one of my favorite things. Where we live, I am in awe daily as I look out my windows and see snow on the mountains, bald eagles flying overhead, beautiful blue water on the lake, sunrises and sunsets over the lake, woodpeckers gathering food from our feeders, bunnies in the yard, etc. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't clearly see the Lord in His amazing creation. It brings a smile to my face even during those difficult days.

I decided to journal one of my favorite scriptures in Romans where we see people are without excuse because God can clearly be seen in His creation. This is known as general revelation. His creation is evidence of an all-powerful Creator God.

Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands."

Romans 1:19-20 "Since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."

To create this page, I used Strathmore Newsprint to stamp the heart flag and the Our Daily Bread Designs quote from Martin Luther. I think I might like using newsprint better in my Journaling Bible because the ink soaks in so nicely, and it's super thin so does not add bulk to the page.

Thanks for joining me today, and I hope you will watch for God each day as you are out in His creation.

Thanks for sharing your Bible journaling. Using newspaper to stamp on is a great idea. Do you have a favorite adhesive/glue/medium to adhere the newspaper?

Thank you Beth. And yes, I use a Uhu Glue Stick. Works amazing. I do use an ATG for other things but not in my Bible. I prefer the Glue Stick. :) Hope that helps. Blessings,

This is beautiful! I love the color combo. Of course, knowing your design skills, it is no surprise how pretty it turned out!
