The word God gave me for this year is "renew." At first, I really felt He kept telling me my word was "new" until He also gave me Isaiah 40:31 which says "but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint." Agh, exactly what I need! I need to be renewed by Him. I am weary, and we still have battles facing our family but His Word tells me that I will run and not grow weary. He will renew my strength and help me through our battles this year. What a great, great comfort!
On my past few Art {Journaling} pages, I have shared the Isaiah verse but I have not completed a page with just this word. So yesterday I set out to do just that. And here is the result:
Papers: digi print from Roben-Marie Smith
Stamps: Tim Holtz Worn Text, Dylusions Around the Edge
Stamp Ink: Hero Hues India ink
Paints: Dylusions squeezed orange, Tim Holtz Distress Paint cracked pistachio, Martha Stewart Satin date night pink, Americana lavender acrylic paint, Tumble Dye hot pink mist
Tools: Delta daisies stencil, hotel key, scissors
Embellishments: correction pen, Uni Posca paint pens (black and mint green), Liquitex gesso, misc. washi
So I pray today that if you are weary or you are facing a battle, cling to Isaiah 40:31 knowing that He is with you, and He will renew your strength! Blessings to each of you!
