Friends of Faith {Blog Hop}

Welcome to Scrapbook News and Review Magazine's A Faith Perspective Thankful for Friends Faith Blog Hop. Today, we're out in force on the internet showing our faith and giving the glory to God. United, we stand as Christian paper crafters and blog owners to make a presence on the internet for all to see. We're celebrating the theme of friends and we're happy to share our projects with you based on the verse:

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up." Ecc4:9-10a

If you're just joining in on the fun, you can find the start of the train here. We also would like to take a moment to thank our generous co-sponsors: Layers of Color Stamps, Gina K Designs Stamps, and Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Together with Scrapbook News and Review Magazine, these companies have donated some wonderful prizes for today's blog hop.

Prizes? Oh, yeah! There will be three lucky grand prize winners for today's event which includes:

**One $100 gift certificate from Layers of Color Stamps AND a 6 month subscription to Scrapbook News and Review Magazine.
**One basket of goodies--four stamp sets from Gina K Designs and a 6 month subscription to Scrapbook News and Review Magazine.
**One set of digital stamps from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and a 3 month subscription to Scrapbook News and Review Magazine.

To enter, make sure you visit the first blog post here for all of the details. Now let's look at my creation for today's hop!

I created this card using one of the new releases from Layers of Color called Butterfly Collector. This will be released tomorrow, 11/14, so you are getting a special treat seeing one of the newest and fun stamps! There are many butterfly stamps in this set but this is just one of them. I think most of my blog readers know how much I LOVE houndstooth. Well, Laura created a houndstooth butterfly stamp! Wasn't she sweet to include houndstooth? :) I just LOVE it, and I can see myself using this little cutie a LOT! Papers: Paper Trey Ink, Webster's Pages, Strathmore watercolor paper, Layman's Bible Encyclopedia 1964
Stamps: Layers of Color Butterfly Collector
Stamp Ink: SU Close to Cocoa, SU Creamy Caramel
Embellishments: Dritz pins, misc. ribbon, Memory Box pearl stickers white , Stickles lime green, Stickles cotton candy, Derwent watercolor pencils, sewing machine, Bo Bunny rub-on sentiment

The scripture comes from an old Bible encyclopedia I got from Paperbackswap so that I can tear out scripture without tearing apart a Bible!

Well, I hope you are enjoying the hop, and I hope you enjoyed my creation for today. Your next stop on this blog hop is: Cassie!! Enjoy, and thanks for stopping by. May the Lord bless you with a joyous weekend!

Pater, your card is just beautiful! I love those houndstooth butterflies! I'm glad you explained where your Bible verse came from. I was just looking at it, thinking that it looked just like it came from the Bible & wondering what font you used! So thanks for answering my question, and what a great resource for realistic looking Bible verses. I need to hit the used bookstore! TFS and have a blessed day!

Dear Patter, I just love the Layers of Color called Butterfly Collector you've used here. I sure wish I could get some of those great stamps to create with. Your card is awesome and it's wonderful that you found an old Layman's Bible that you can use to scrap with. Great stuff hon! Thank you for sharing your love of the Lord -- that's so awesome that we are free to do so. Hugs and blessings, Helen
