I'm Here but Buried!

Hello dear friends! We have arrived in our new home! Last Tuesday, June 26th, we closed on our house. Then the next day, 432 boxes along with furniture were delivered! Needless to say, I am buried in boxes. I don't know when I will dig out. LOL! Then we just got internet service on Monday. Whew, that was hard to be without. Anyway, here are just a few photos of the mess. First, my poor studio:

And here are the "few" boxes we put out for the garbage service this morning:

And here is why I love it so much:

God has truly blessed us here already though this morning I was attacked by a few yellow-jacket hornets and stung on the rear end. LOL! It's been a fun day. I haven't been stung in probably 38-39 years. I guess I am still not allergic. Praise God!

Anyway, my "treat" each day is to unbox a few boxes in my studio. I work in the house most of the day and then try to do a few boxes in my room in the evening. I pray it gets finished sooner than later. I know I am going to love it up here. I will do a video tour once it's all done!

Thank you all for your prayers for us. I hope to be back creating and blogging in a week or two!!! Blessings to each of you!

Oh Patter, yes I can see why you love it. I have moved so many times, so I understand where you are now. Blessing to you and it will be over soon and all will be back to normal. Hate Bee stings and hope the sting is gone by now.

Saying a prayer for all of you..seeing your pictures brought back memories of our move last July. Don't know about you, but we had been in our last home 17 years, lots to get rid of, always a good reminder of how little we need and how He provides. Blessings and good luck!!!

Thank you all for your sweet words. And your prayers mean the world to us! Thank you!!!!! And yes, Sherry, after 14 years of "collecting," it is easy to see how little we truly need. I am donating a ton, and have told the girls I think I can become a "minimalist." LOL! Thank you all again, and have a blessed weekend!

I'm a NEW follower of your blog! LOVE your new home AND your new craft room!!!!!! Boy, are you "lucky" to have the trash service pick all that up! Where we live you're only allowed 5 dark garbage bags! :/ (Something I had to get used to when we moved here!) Can't wait to see your house all done! AND LOOK AT YOUR VIEWS!!!!!! GORGEOUS!!! God IS GOOD! :)
