June Sketch Challenge from Blue Fern Studios

Can you believe it's June already? Gracious! Well, with the start of a new month, that means it's time for a new sketch challenge from Blue Fern Studios. Did you get to play along last month? If not, here is your chance to join in on the fun! Here is the sketch:

June Sketch

This sketch features the use of the Blue Fern Studios Page Chains chipboard. You can see the complete June Sketch Challenge details by clicking here.

My Creation
I used this sketch to create an 8 1/2 x 11 layout of Jesse, the horse we are leasing. I decided to ink the Page Chains chipboard with distress ink so that it would look like leather. I also used a horseshoe charm that a friend RAK'd to me. So fun!
Papers: Blue Fern Studios packaging paper, Crate Paper DIY Shop, Basic Grey Bowties, Bazzill cs
Blue Fern Studios chipboard: Page Chains (inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink tea dye)
Stamp Ink: Archival Ink jet black
Stamp: JustRite 100 Year Dater
Embellishments: Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose Collectables; The Twinery ocean; flair from A Flair for Buttons; Stampin' Up cordurou buttons; Petaloo Mini Pearl Daisies, Dahlias, Wild Blossoms Aqua, and leaves; Prima clock, zipper, and flowers; May Arts black twine; Darice horseshoe charm; doily from Hobby Lobby; Martha Stewart eyelet lace punch; EK Success binding edge punch; sewing machine

Now jump on over to the Blue Fern Studios blog to see the full details of this sketch challenge and to see more sketch inspiration from the other design team members. Well, I can't wait to see what you create with the sketch. Have fun, and thanks for stopping by!
