It's July, and it's time for a new sketch challenge from Blue Fern Studios! I hope you are excited to play along because Leslie has put together an amazing prize package! Did you get to play along last month? If not, here is your chance to join in on the fun! Here is the sketch:
July Sketch
This sketch features the use of the Blue Fern Studios Renaissance Border chipboard. You can see the complete July Sketch Challenge details and prize package by clicking here.
My Creation
I used this sketch to create an 8 1/2 x 11 layout of of my husband when we went to Biltmore House recently. It was empty that day, and we had a great family day. I used the Blue Fern Studios Renaissance Border chipboard, and I chose to break it into two pieces. I colored it with various mists to match the layout.
Papers: Pion Designs Vintage Garden, Bazzill cs
Stamps: Smash date stamp
Stamp Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink black soot
Blue Fern Studios chipboard: Renaissance Border
Embellishments: Petaloo Mantis Green and Dahlias flowers; The Robin's Nest black dew drops; Cheery Lynn Designs exoitc butterfly small die; misc. washi tape; Wild Orchid Crafts leaves; Golden black gesso; A Flair for Buttons flair; misc. ticket; sewing machine
Now jump on over to the Blue Fern Studios blog to see the full details of this sketch challenge and to see more sketch inspiration from the other design team members including some of our new DT members! Have fun, and thanks for stopping by!

I really like how you turned the sketch into an 8.5 x 11. The colours are perfect for those photos and the details are lovely.
