Well, I believe most kids are back in school, the days are getting shorter, and I am wondering how it can be approaching Fall already. Wow! What better way to enjoy the new approaching season than using the new Blue Fern Studios September Sketch Challenge! It is another great sketch, and I hope that more of you will join in! Here is the September sketch:
September Sketch
This sketch features the use of the Blue Fern Studios Natural Sprigs set. You can see the complete September Sketch Challenge details and prize package by clicking here.
My Creation
For my 8 1/2 x 11 page using this sketch, I scrapped a photo of the precious toddler my daughter took care of. Every time she comes over to our house, I take millions of photos. It's so cute to have a little one in the house again and take photos of her. I gave her mom this layout on Thursday this past week to add to the album I made for their family.
I used not only the Blue Fern Studios Natural Sprigs set but I also used the chipboard glasses from the Mister Stuff set. I thought they were perfect for this layout. I also got to play with the beautiful 7 Dots Studio Messy Head collection for this layout. Just love their papers and goodies!
Papers: 7 Dots Studio Messy Head Little Thoughts and News Flash, Bazzill cs
Stamp Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink dusty concord Blue Fern Studios chipboard: Natural Sprigs Set (painted with Inka Gold old silver), Mister Stuff (painted with yellow acrylic paint and Liquitex light modeling paste)
Embellishments: 7 Dots Studio Messy Head Elements; The Crafter's Workshop swiss dots template; Art Anthology mardi gras dimensional paint; Zva Creative pearls; Maya Road tape measure trim; Wild Orchid Crafts leaves; misc. washi tape; Petaloo Mini Lemon Canterbury flowers and plum Velvet Wild Roses; Prima Corine and grape Fabrique flowers; sewing machine
