Debby of D's Paper Studio is featuring Blue Fern Studios products today. She asked me to create something to share so I decided to create my first Christmas card of the season. Blue Fern Studios has new snowflake chipboard available called Shabby Flakes. So, I used some of those pieces for my card.
Each Shabby Flake was first covered in gesso. I then embossed them with American Crafts Zing! embossing powder and Ranger embossing tinsel. I did not completely cover each chipboard piece. I wanted each snowflake to be a bit “unique."
Papers: Pink Paislee Snow Village; Memory Box notecard
Blue Fern Studios chipboard: Shabby Flakes (embossed with American Crafts Zing! Embossing powder and Ranger embossing tinsel) Stamp Ink: Prima chalk ink dry sand
Embellishments: Prima Coventry Rose Romantique flower; hand-dyed Hug Snug with Maya Road latte metallic mist; Doodlebug Design mini pearls; Wild Orchid Crafts leaf; sewing machine
Be sure to visit Debby's post today, and leave some love for her gorgeous creation using Blue Fern Studios chipboard! Thanks for stopping by, and have a blessed Monday!

How lovely---thank you for sharing this. I enjoy the carol and recipe fragments, along with the embellished chipboard. Must get some cards made, too. Jennifer in OH
