One of the recent challenges I wanted to complete was called the "Slice of Life Challenge." I am making a Book of Me this year. My "One Little Word" layout I posted last week will also go into this album. If you missed that layout, click here. For this album, I want to try to find things that represent me and who I am right now. I do not know what this album will grow into but I pray it will be a piece of me that our girls can share when I am gone someday.
For this layout, I used this week's Flying Unicorn sketch. I also use the Blue Fern Studios Bits of Honey chipboard. I painted it with a mix of Shimmerz Texturez crushed coral and Shimmerz Spritz plum pudding. Here is my 8 1/2 x 11 layout:
Papers: 7 Dots Studio 9th Wave Sea Foam and Golden Sand, art journaling card by Patter CrossBlue Fern Studios chipboard: Bits of Honey (painted w/mix of Shimmerz Texturez crushed coral and Shimmerz Spritz plum pudding)
Stamps: Becky Higgins date stamp
Stamp Ink: Archival jet black, Prima Chalk Ink old road
Sketch: Flying Unicorn Mojo Monday
Embellishments: Flying Unicorn butterfly adornment painted with Lumiere pewter; EK Success binding edge punch; Prima Corine flowers, black crystals, and zipper pull; Petaloo pink wild blossoms, dk. brown paper flowering vines, aqua and fuschia wild mini blossoms; Silhouette cut file for title; Angora watercolors; sewing machine

Beautiful page! I love your journaling - it really does represent you. I like how you've given the journaling centre stage but you've also got your picture highlighted with those lovely flowers.
Just say Jesus is currently my favorite song. Thank you for sharing your work with others. Rebecca
