Tuesday's {Tip} Best White Pen

Over the years I bet most of us can say that we have tried many white pens. Most I know I have tried have skipped, dried out, and just not worked like I want them to. Well, I think I have finally found my favorite white pen. Let's look at what I have tried for you this week, and I will share some sample writing at the end of this post.

Sailor Mini Correction Pen 1.0 mm
This little beauty is amazing. As soon as I pulled it out of the package, I was amazed. It writes smoothly, no skipping, and truly a gem. The white ink just pours out. Some might say it comes out too fast but I love how it flows. It does write a little thick because it is a 1.0 mm tip. You can find this pen here at Jetpens.com.

Uni Whitia Correction Pen
This pen is a couple of dollars more; however, it can be refilled! And of course, I love the pink. I really didn't think this pen would measure up to the pen above but remarkably it does. The body of this pen comes in blue and pink at Jetpens.com. Click here to see what is available.

Bic Wite-Out Correction Pen
This is the pen I have been using for some time but it gives me fits each time. It is hard to get the fluid flowing from the pen, and even then I think it skips a lot. This is not my favorite pen but this is more readily available at local stores.
Uni-ball Signo
This is the pen that I think most crafters and artists are familiar with. However, it is also not my favorite. It does have a finer tip so I do like that but the ink doesn't flow quite as well. I still use it and will continue to do so.

Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen
This marker is nice and gives a great chalk effect but I do not use it much because of that. Usually I am not looking for a chalk effect. It writes smooth and works very well, however, if that is what you are looking for. I purchased this at Hobby Lobby with a coupon.

Samples
Here are samples of each pen on black cardstock. Look how much trouble I had with the Bic Wite-Out Pen. Over all the Sailor Mini will probably be the one I use the most. Love that little gem!

I hope this has been helpful! Thanks for stopping by today! Blessings,

This is such a helpful review, Patter. I've used Signo Uniballs for years, but they clog and skip and give me fits. LOL!

So awesome! I've been meaning to do this as well since all of the white pens (really only 2 or 3 and at least 2 were very old and dried out...) haven't worked well. I'll have to try that Sailor Mini one soon!

This is so helpful. I went to JetPen site and it looks like a great resource for those materials. Thanks.

Thanks for the review. I've used the Uni-ball for years but can't find it locally. In desperation (LOL), I tried a white Gelly Roll pen. So far, so good but knowing these others are out there is GREAT!! I really like the bright white of the Sailor pen.

Yes, helpful! I have the Uni-Ball, but often wonder if there's better options out there...I'm going to have to keep my eye out for the Sailor!

Thanks so much for the review!! I get so frustrated with some of the white pens that I use!! I find that the Bosca pens are also really great!!

Patter,
Thank you so much for your detailed and awesome review so we can all learn from your experience/expertise!! I cannot explain how grateful I am for your powerful lessons each Sunday in your weekly scripture lesson. You backup what you are saying with scriptures, also add a song that ties it together, all while bringing paper crafting to life. I just wanted to express how much all of your time and effort you give to help others in need. Thank you so much Patter for being the great teacher that you are. I have learned so much from you and again what a blessing you are to me and so many others! May God bless you richly for your paper crafting ministry.

Sincerely,
Gina S

Thanks you so much for taking the time to compare these pens. I've been struggling for years to find a good white pen and have never heard of the Sailor Mini.
Thanks Again!!

You all are very welcome! And Gina, thank you SO much for your sweet, sweet words. God leads me, and my prayer each time I share a study is that He would use it for His glory and for the people that need to hear the words He leads me to share. Thank you for blessing me with your words of encouragement today. :)

Thank you so much for this post! I got so tired of spending money on new pens, even when promised that they would be "the one", only to be disappointed when I got home and tried it for myself.
Really enjoy your informative blog!
