Most of you that have read my blog for a long time know that I love Dr. Henrietta Mears. I have one of her quote books, and it is filled with wonderful quotes. I found this quote, and had to journal it. The quote says "A Christian is I following Christ—ChristIan." See it? I had to think for a moment but then really loved it once I figured it out. Here is how I journaled the quote:
Papers: misc. hymn paper, misc. ledger paper
Stamps: Paperbag Studios Mixed Media Essentials, Neat and Tangled Christmas Journaling, Hero Arts painted circle, Donna Downey foam flower stamp, Stampin Up nursery letters
Stamp Ink: Hero Hues India ink, Ranger Archival Ink aquamarine
Paints: Apple Barrel cloudless, Tumble Dye turquoise mist, Tim Holtz Distress Paint abandoned coral and cracked pistachio, Golden black gesso
Tools: Tim Holtz Splatters stencil, Delta daisies stencil, hotel key, scissors, mini mister, sewing machine
Embellishments: correction pen, misc. washi

I love your art journal page, have you thought about posting a step by step tutorial?
Thank you Clemencia! Glad you like it. I have posted step-by-step tutorials before. They take a lot of time, and this particular page I worked on for a bit before my daughter's heart surgery, and just finished it yesterday since we have been home a couple of days from the hospital. I was interrupted quite a bit working on this particular page. :) If you look at the bottom of this post here, you will see links to a couple of my step-by-steps. Hope that helps.

So pretty, Patter! LOVE the flowers!
How do you do your journaling? I thought it was a typewriter, now I'm not sure. Thanks. Love your work!
Deborah, on this particular piece I used my vintage typewriter and a stamp for the word Christ. I use mix of stamps, typewriter, and computer. Hope that helps. :)
