Tuesday's {Tip} Glossy Accents Clogged?

How many of you use Glossy Accents? Oh my, I use it on most of my creations for adhering pearls, bling, and other smaller things that won't take a Glue Dot.
Well, I am on my second bottle of Glossy Accents. I even have a 3rd bottle in my cabinet as a spare. Why do I have so many bottles? Well, not because I use THAT much but because the bottles get clogged all of the time. Ugh! I have used my piercing tool countless times to open up the "clog," I have trimmed the tip until it is a huge opening, etc. I have been so frustrated. Love the product but I don't like the constantly clogged bottle!

Well, I read on Splitcoaststampers that some people store their bottle upside down to keep it from clogging. I decided to try it. What did I have to lose? Just another bottle of Glossy Accents! LOL! Anyway, for the past month I have tried it out by storing the bottle upside down in a little bucket that sits on my desk, and guess what? It works BEAUTIFULLY! No, I am not yelling; I am excited! It works! My bottle has not clogged yet! I love being able to open the bottle, use it, and put it back without having to try to open it up again to get it to work! Can you see it in my bucket?
So, if you have this frustration with your Glossy Accents or other liquid adhesives, you might try this! It really does work great! Yeah!!! I hope this helps some of you that have had the same frustration I have had in the past! Enjoy your creative time minus the clogs!!!! :) Blessings,

I appreciate all your ideas on an orderly studio. I hadn't had this problem yet, but will TRY to remember it. Blessings

Another reason I've heard to store it upside down is because you get less air bubbles in it. It saves you trouble if you're trying to cover something with it and want an epoxy look to it. Thankfully, I heard this before buying my first bottle and have always kept it upside down. Now my bottle of Zip Dry is another story. :(
