Another {Crochet} Lap Blanket

If you remember the quick crochet lap blanket I made for my daughter, well this one is just like it other than it's pink instead of blue. To see my daughter's blue lap blanket, please click here. I am not sure what I will be doing with this blanket. I contacted our prayer shawl ministry at church yesterday, and unfortunately that ministry has been dissolved. I am praying about what God would have me do with this one, and I want to do more to share with those in need so I am praying about that too. Anyway, here is my latest lap blanket.

Patter, this is so pretty and looks so snuggly. Whoever the recipient is will appreciate your generosity.

Patter,

Maybe you could check with your local nursing home or hospice? My mother is currently going through breast cancer at age 81, and she is in a nursing home. I know she would be incredibly grateful to receive something beautiful and practical like this. I am sure there is probably someone else near you feeling the same way. God bless you for doing this and searching for a good home for each of them.

Hugs,
Maureen

This is very pretty and looks deliciously warm. I keep little blankets like this in my car to throw over my legs. If I get a chill in my knee, pain will radiate from my hip to my ankle for hours. My little blankets prevent that from happening. You could give yours to a senior you know or make several for a senior transportation van.

Your local women's shelter might like these. For the ladies And the children.

Do you have a safe house for women, or a BirthRight, I am sure they would love to receive it. Or give to your local hospital to give to the Valentine Baby Born on Feb 14, it is pink!!

That is so beautifully made and I can just feel the LOVE that will surround a lucky recipient! Could you "auction"? Or "raffle"? I'm sure you could find the right place to place the proceeds😇

Patter, sometime this week my friend will get the chainstitch afghan I made as a direct result of this post. I took a photo of my friend's favorite Vera Bradley purse, and bought yarn to match the colors. Have been working on it since November, and her birthday is at the end of this month. Thank you so much!!! Love and prayers, Jennifer in Ohio
