Oh I am still having so much fun with these. And I have also added a new twist. On the back, I am writing the year, and one blessing for the day. Next year, I will add to the back of these cards and add the year, and the blessing for that day. I will get to experience these scriptures and quotes again and also remember the blessing(s) from the previous year. I am so excited doing these cards, and I believe I will continue these for a year instead of just 61 days!
ICAD #4, Typewriter
This card has a bit of a funny. First I used a Kiehl's card I got in the mail to do an image transfer on the background. Then I wanted to add a bit of book paper so I just tore a piece from a scrap laying on my art table. After I glued the piece down I noticed the words 'typed' and 'well-inked ribbon'. How perfect was that for the typewriter challenge? Love it! I whitewashed over the background before adding some scrap painted circles I had in my bag of papers and the quote (which I love, love, love).
ICAD #5, Clouds
For this prompt, I did not want to include a cloud on my card. But, I did want the color blue and a 'cloud' scripture. Love the scripture I found in Job. Hope you love it too!

Joni, thank you. I am going to put them in an old Weis 3x5 wooden box. I will share a picture of the cards in it once I have more done. :)
You are very creative with your icad cards. It is going to be real fun to pull out a card for the day next year to read the inspirayional notes for the day. What a great idea...
These are so pretty! What a great idea to write a blessing on the back and then re-visit them yearly. They remind me a little of the Scripture cards you challenged us to do back in 2007/2008-ish. I still have the ones I completed.
