Well, another busy Tuesday here so I am posting late in the day. I wanted to share a little something with you that I was reminded of yesterday. I know several of you worked with me as we went through old scrapbook magazines, tore out the ideas we loved, and tossed the remaining part of the magazine. Well, I forgot to share with you that I hold onto one or two old magazines. I use them for scrap paper when I am painting, glueing, using glitter, etc. Sometimes I tear out a page of the old magazine to put on my tabletop before painting or glueing. Or sometimes I just leave the pages in the book, and I lay my small piece on a page to use my glue stick. Works so wonderfully, I am not wasting other paper, and when the book gets used up or messy, in the garbage it goes. Then I just use another old magazine. Actually any old catalog or magazine will work. Try it. It is quite handy!

Great idea! I'm all over this... I'm working on cleaning up my scrap area and am finding I'm using quite a few of your ideas - so thanks for sharing them!!

What a great idea! I never would have thought of that. TFS
I tried it this weekend and it works great. I used a catalog that I got in the mail that I didn't want anymore, and when one page got too much glue or paint on it, just flip the page to a new clean one. I was concerned that a magazine would not lay flat enough and would keep trying to 'flip up' on me, especially towards the back of the magazine. But since I was using a smaller catalog, it laid perfectly flat with no problems. Thanks for the idea!
